The Centre for Creative Arts

The Centre for Creative Arts offers several fully equipped studio spaces for use through our many offered courses, drop in opportunities and bookings.

Ceramics

Our ceramics studio is equipped with 8 electric wheels, a press roller, extruder, work tables, an electric kiln and many small tools. We also have a clay mixer and pug mill which allow us to recycle clay for future use.

Our glazing room is equipped with a variety of glazing tools and a number of different glazes.

Digital Media

Our digital media studio is equipped with several iMac computer stations, a photo quality Epson printer, high resolution Epson scanner and an inFocus DLP projector. This studio is a great place to edit photos, build web pages, or dabble in graphic design projects.

Open Studio

This large open studio space is ideal for a variety of creative activities, such as painting and crafts. The space has painting rails for canvas storage, floor and table easels, adjustable studio lights, a sink and a number of movable tables.

Drawing

Our drawing studio is equipped with a model’s platform, drawing donkeys, floor and table easels, adjustable studio lights and movable tables.

Glass & Metal Arts

In our temporary location, this studio is equipped for stained glass, glass mosaic and wire jewelry.

On our return to our renovated permanent location, this studio will be equipped with large work benches, silversmith stations, torches, flexible shaft machines, grinders, soldering equipment and much more. Users will have the ability to work on a variety of projects such as stained glass, glass fusing and slumping, and jewelry items.
