The Centre for Creative Arts offers several fully equipped studio spaces for use through our many offered courses, drop in opportunities and bookings.

This fully equipped studio includes 13 wheels , an electric kiln, a raku kiln, a spay booth, an extruder, a slab roller, molds, and all types of tools for hand building and wheel throwing. The Centre for Creative Arts’ Digital Studio offers 7 Mac desktop computers. Each computer is loaded with Creative Suite 4, which includes Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.We also offer a scanner and projector.

Painting Studio

The Painting Studio offers table top and stand up easels, a sink and extendable ceiling mounts plug ins.

Drawing

The Drawing Studio holds all of our drawing classes, is used by The Grande Prairie Figure Drawing Club and is sometimes used as a multi purpose art studio. This studio offers multiple easels, drawing donkeys, spot lights and a platform for models and still lives, as well as wonderful natural light, a sink, and extendable ceiling mounted plug ins.

Glass & Metal Arts

The Centre for Creative Arts offers a variety of classes in Jewellery and Glass. Our jewellery classes include beading, hemp jewellery and silversmithing (coming soon) Glass classes include stained glass, glass mosaics and glass fusing (coming soon) The majority of these classes are for teens and adults due to the nature of the materials and processes.

Dance Studio

Thank you to Modern Decore for the generous donation and installation of our beautiful new floor. The studio is for performing artsclasses; drama, magic, dance and more. This space will also be used to host bigger classes, artist talks, workshops and symposiums.The space is available for rental for private functions.
