The Centre for Creative Arts will be hosting an exciting night of wearable art, music and dancing to kick off Alberta Arts Days in Grande Prairie. We are looking for visual artists to create wearable art pieces and performing artists to be a part of this event. The event will be like a fashion show with a runway and music. We need YOU to make this an event to remember! Call the Centre for more information.

Summer Camps and Special Classes

CREATIVE SUMMER CAMPS: Make your summer the best one yet! Kids ages 6 to 12 will experience a wide variety of exciting and fun art activities in the Centre’s Creative Arts Summer Day Camps! Kids will have a blast with different activities each day of the week. Classes may be split up according to age. Book now! Space is limited! Please call to Register. Weekly camps starting July 5. Full day $165, half day $85.

TEEN ART SUMMER CAMP: Teens ages 13 and up can explore their creativity and imagination with our week long Teen Art Summer Camp. Each day will focus on a different activity. Activities may include pottery,painting, jewelry making, tie dye, etc. Monday to Friday, July 26-30, 2pm-4pm, $95

ART SCHOOL PREPERATION: Are you a high school student considering a post secondary education in the fine arts? Strengthen your skills and develop your portfolio in this week long course. Monday to Friday, August 23-27, 2pm-4pm, $95

SUMMER POTTERY CLUB: Membership includes unlimited drop-ins during business hours, as well as set pottery nights (TBA) Valid July 1, 2010 – August 31, 2010, $75
