The Centre is proud to present our June exhibition, “Clay”, the CFCA Pottery Show. This exhibition will showcase the work of several local artists and CFCA patrons. The opening reception is on May 4 from 7pm-9pm. The show runs until June 25. Everyone is welcome and there is no admission charge. The Prairie Art Gallery is also having an opening the same night for their latest show, “Spring Hurlbut: Le Jardin du Sommeil.” Make a night of it! The Centre for Creative Arts will be hosting an exciting night of wearable art, music and dancing to kick off Alberta Arts Days in Grande Prairie. We are looking for visual artists to create wearable art pieces and performing artists to be a part of this event. The event will be like a fashion show with a runway and music. We need YOU to make this an event to remember! Call the Centre for more information. The Submission form will be available on our website soon, or you can pick on up at the Centre.

CFCA Grand Opening Join us for the afternoon of July 24 for our Grand Opening. There will be a ribbon cutting, interactive demonstrations, activities for the family and cake! More details next month.

TEEN ART SUMMER CAMP: Teens ages 13 and up can explore their creativity and imagination with our week long Teen Art Summer Camp. Each day will focus on a different activity. Activities may include pottery,painting, jewelry making, tie dye, etc. Monday to Friday, July 26-30, 2pm-4pm, $95
ART SCHOOL PREPERATION: Are you a high school student considering a post secondary education in the fine arts? Strengthen your skills and develop your portfolio in this week long course. Monday to Friday, August 23-27, 2pm-4pm, $95

The Community Village Society’sDon’t forget to get your ticket for the Community Village’s ” A Chair Affair” on Saturday, June 5.
